    • The external evaluation aims to ensure that project implementation remains aligned with its objectives, while confirming the quality of outcomes and outputs, as well as the relevance of results to the development needs of involved universities and the covered industry.
To monitor the quality, an external expert has been involved in assessing the project’s progress and results. The expert has undertaken a comprehensive evaluation of project implementation, including an in-depth analysis of developed deliverables and supporting materials, as well as the quality and relevance of the results. Particular attention has been given to how effectively the project results address the needs of partner institutions, target groups, and the broader context of the target countries.
As part of the evaluation process, several meetings with project partners have been organised to gain deeper insight into the alignment of project results with the needs of universities and the food industry. These meetings have contributed to assessing the quality of project processes, including cooperation mechanisms, implementation approaches, and the overall effectiveness and impact of project activities. The most recent meeting of project partners and the expert took place on 1 April 2026, representing an important milestone in monitoring project progress and supporting continuous quality improvement. Findings and recommendations will be summarised in the report.
